E-health: the Inter-University Diploma (DIU) in ‘Innovation and Healthcare Practices’ concludes its 8th intake in Abidjan
Launched in 2019, this course dedicated to digital health continues to demonstrate its growing popularity year on year (1,176 applications were received in 2026, exceeding the 1,000 mark for the first time); and its important role in continuing professional development in the field of e-health in sub-Saharan Africa.
PROGRAMMES
Improving protection, prevention and access to health care for people with albinism in sub-Saharan Africa
The project aims to strengthen 9 albinism organizations in Côte d’Ivoire, Uganda, Niger, DRC and Madagascar, and improve the referral of people with albinism to holistic care adapted to their specific needs.

CAMPAIGNS
Albinism, shift perspectives
This campaign aims to inform, raise awareness, and change perceptions of albinism. It is part of the APPASAAS project, implemented by Fondation Pierre Fabre with support from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
The APPASAAS project aims to improve access to care and support for people with albinism, while helping to combat discrimination and misconceptions.
