The Global South E-Health Observatory launches its 2026 call for project proposals!

Join the community of ODESS award winners and contribute to the digital transformation of healthcare in the low-middle-income countries!
The Global South e-Health Observatory (ODESS) is launching its 2026 call for projects to support initiatives using information and communication technologies to improve access to healthcare and quality medicines in African and Asian countries. Projects that have already been implemented in the field (at least at the pilot stage) are eligible.
After examining the eligible applications, the Observatory’s group of experts will select the most relevant projects, which will be awarded an Observatory award and provided with financial support for one year. Since its creation, 49 award-winners have benefited from such support.
The prizes will be awarded at the Observatory’s 10th annual conference, to be held at the end of 2026 at the Pierre Fabre Foundation headquarters in Lavaur.

Eligibility criteria :
The projects must :
√ aim to improve access to quality healthcare and medicines for people in Africa and/or Asia
√ use information and communication technologies
√ be implemented in the field (at least at the pilot stage)
