Following the earthquake that hit southern Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, the Fondation Pierre Fabre has made the decision to provide aid to victims. It has initially released a sum of 50,000 euros to help deal with the emergency. These funds will be donated to the French Red Cross, which is currently working on site having sent personnel and equipment to provide medical care and to support the Turkish Red Crescent and Syrian Red Crescent organizations.

The Pierre Fabre Group, of which the Fondation Pierre Fabre is the majority shareholder, will also be donating medical products and hygiene products for those affected.

The Fondation Pierre Fabre is remaining attentive to how the situation unfolds and to the consequences of the earthquake in Lebanon, where the foundation is running several programs to improve access to health care. It has expressed its solidarity with all the victims of this tragic event.
